What information we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, postcode, property details and any message you include. If you become a customer, we also keep your address, access instructions (such as key-safe codes), cleaning preferences and payment records.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote (legitimate interests / steps before entering a contract).
- To arrange and carry out your cleaning service, and to take payment (performance of a contract).
- To keep business and accounting records (legal obligation).
- To contact you about your service, for example changes to appointments (performance of a contract).
We will never sell your information, and we will only send you marketing if you have asked us to. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where needed to run our business, with: the cleaner(s) assigned to your clean; our website host and form provider (Cloudflare and Web3Forms), which process form submissions on our behalf; Google, if you accept analytics cookies; and our accountants, bank and insurers where required. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and photos from Pexels and Unsplash, which means your browser connects to their servers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for as long as you're a customer and then for up to 6 years for tax and accounting purposes.
Keeping your information secure
We take appropriate measures to protect your information. Access details such as key-safe codes are shared only with the cleaners who need them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
